In memory of
Jeanne Kay Hillis
June 15, 1950 - February 07, 2019 - Age 68

Jeanne Kay Hillis passed away suddenly but peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the age of 68 years, beloved wife of Bruce Hillis of Foremost. She also leaves to cherish her memory two children, Greg (Kim) Hillis and their children Isaac, Sam and Leo all of Louisville, Kentucky; Kristy (Brett) Lindenback and their children Mason, Cole and Tessa all of Okotoks; her brothers Jim (Dotti) Hughes of Palm Desert, California, John (Lisa) Hughes of Casa Grande, Arizona and her mother-in-law Betty Hillis of Rimbey. She was predeceased by her parents, Erma and Joseph Hughes and her father-in-law Harvey Hillis. Jeanne worked all her life in administration though the highlight was her time working in Kananaskis. The people and opportunities she enjoyed there were some of her happiest memories. She was a great mother and doting grandmother. Her faith was a large part of her life, however music and singing were her gift which she shared joyfully. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the Foremost Community Hall on Tuesday, from 1:00 - 1:55 p.m. To celebrate Jeanne’s life, the funeral service will be held in the Foremost Community Hall (802 1st Avenue West, Foremost) on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Evans Hundermark officiating. Message from Brian & Ginny Winter February 09, 2019

Dear Bruce & family -- although it has been some time since we last saw each other in Medicine Hat you have not been far from our thoughts! Cochrane Alliance just celebrated their 40th anniversary and your names were mentioned amongst conversations. Many, many happy joyous times were spent with you folks. We will always remember how Jeanne could light up the room with her beautiful voice, bubbly personality and wonderful sense of humor. Her many skits and anecdotes that she presented brought so much love and joy to those present. CAC was blessed to have her be a part of the ministries she obediently served in and to whom she became a friend to. Our prayer is that God will fill you all with his unsurpassing joy and strength and love for one another as you remember Jeanne -- wife, mother, grandmother. We will remember and treasure those memories of her alongside you.

Message from Randy Axani and Claudette Landry February 10, 2019

Claudette and I both worked with Jeanne in Kananaskis, within Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. She was great at her job, fun to work with and she was great with the public; someone who cared so much about people and the job she did. We are shocked and saddened by her passing. Our deepest condolences to Bruce and the family.
