Jacquie was born and raised in Medicine Hat where she completed her education. She loved the time she worked at Medalta Pottery. On June 29, 1950, she married Erwin Becker and they moved to the family farm south of Burstall. They lived on the farm until 1965, when they moved into Burstall. In 1987, they retired to Medicine Hat. Jacquie was a wonderful wife, very loving mother, nanny and a great friend. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. There was never a shortage of “I love you” to those in her life. She was known for her kindness, sincerity and love for life. She was truly loved by everyone that crossed her path. Her heart was bigger than she was. She loved to sing, dance, play guitar, read and bowl. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on 5th West for the special care given during her last week. A very special thank you to the nurses at the Wellington for the outstanding care they provided her over the last nine years. She loved you all.
