1928 ~ Clarence Glascock ~ 2021

Clarence Carl Melvin Glasock was born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan on September 11, 1928. On October 8, 2021, he left this world surrounded by his children in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.

He was the beloved husband and partner in life of Joyce L Glascock (nee Semenok). He leaves to cherish his memory his four children, Bruce (Debbie) Glascock of the Woodlands, Texas, Susan (Wayne) Burton of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, Douglas and Donald Glascock of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. Clarence will be missed lovingly by his grandchildren, Gina (Jay) Egan, Trent (Janice) Burton, Jenna (Ray) Moore, Clayton Glascock, Kennedy Glascock and Madison Glascock; as well as his great-grandchildren, Jack Egan, Sadie Moore, Archer Burton, Carys Burton and Eloise Moore. Also left in his memory, his sister, Joyce Shannon and sisters in-law, Lillian Semenok and Jean Myrol; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Clarence was pre-deceased by the love of his life, Joyce, his parents Raymond and Gladys Glascock, sister, Manita Finlayson and infant brother, Leonard.

Clarence and Joyce were married for 67 years and lived, worked and raised their family in Maple Creek. He was always involved in the automotive industry and became a partner with his father, Raymond, and ran Maple Creek Motors with him for many years. Later he was joined by all three of his sons to proudly manage the dealership together.

Clarence served on the General Motors dealer council, has been president of both Kinsmen and Rotary Clubs and was nominated for town council and the school board.

He was a dedicated volunteer fireman for 33 years.

Clarence retired from the dealership in 1997 and he and Joyce enjoyed many years of traveling, trailering, golfing and their beautiful grandchildren.

He loved his family and was always very proud of each of them. Clarence was so loved and will be missed by many.

Dear family,
a beautiful and fitting service for dear Clarence whom I was lucky enough to call "Uncle". We are full of sadness yet, we have many memories of joy for his kindness, generous spirit, big laugh and big bear hugs!
Though unable to attend the service, we are grateful for the live streaming.
Sending you all virtual hugs from your cousin with hopes of future reconnection with our families.
Thanks to Uncle Clarence, Auntie Joyce and our cousins Bruce, Susan, Doug and Don for your kindness and support of my brother Raymond Shannon.
Much love to all today and always.
your cousin Donna Shannon
