In memory of
Terrance Kuntz
October 16, 1960 - April 16, 2021 - Age 60

Terrance John Kuntz of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the age of 60 years. He leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Randy Kuntz (Barbara Froehlich) of Kelowna and Stan (Karen) Kuntz of Airdrie; one sister Cory (Jay) Fiset of Calgary; his nieces and nephews, Maria (Cole) Olsen and their children Kaidan, Jude, Ava and Raya; Melissa Kuntz (Tyler Mayo), Wyatt Fiset and Jaxson Fiset; and his very special friend Patty Green. He was predeceased by his parents Frances and Joseph Kuntz. Terry had a sharp, witty sense of humor. He had the ability to make anyone laugh and getting much mileage out of a great one liner or joke brought him great joy. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and riding his motorbike with the wind in his hair. He had a free spirit and was always a gypsy at heart. Terry loved music and also played folk and country music on his guitar. He was very talented musically and was able to play songs by ear. Many years ago while living in Calgary, Terry played in a band and even wrote original music and lyrics. We will miss you dearly for the rest of our days as will anyone who knew and loved you. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Pat Grisonich. Terry was one of my best friends growing up, ever since the Kuntz family moved to Redcliff and later, was my best man at my wedding. He loved life, always had a smile, a laugh, a joke, and always lifted everyone's spirits, no matter the occasion. And there was never an time when you saw Terry having a bad day, he was always optimistic and took everything else in stride.
Most of my memories growing up are with Terry, from the ski trips to Banff, to the many "social outings", the camping trips, the duck hunting trips, the "occasional and unwarranted" brushes with the law, a trip to Mexico, and many more. We had such great times.
Terry enriched my life and the lives of all whom had the pleasure to know him. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
Deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace buddy.

Terry you will be missed by everyone that knew you! ++1 Corinthians 15: 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed! Condolences to all members of the family!

So many memories and all funny. ..I remember when the kuntz's first came to town, I don't remember how we met up but I remember myself, my brother and Clayton Gaylor sat on Gaylor's step talking and telling jokes long into the night when we probably should have been in bed. ..I'm pretty sure a couple of us wet our pants because we were laughing so hard. ..the bond was sealed that night...he was a part of our herd...camping adventures, weekend hikes down to the river and later in life many "sing a longs", except he was the only one with talent...as life changes we might not have always met up but he was always a part of our hearts and always will be...as long as I live your memory will live...my sincerest condolences to Patty and the kuntz family...until we meet again my friend

Our sincerest condolences to the Kuntz families during this sad time. May you treasure many happy memories of Terry in your heart.
I have many events to remember from growing up with Terry in Redcliff. But what stands out to me is his character through life didn’t change; he was still the Terry I grew up with - friendly, kind, honest, and an almost permanent grin- always ready to tell a good joke, lift your spirit and make you laugh. He loved that. That was being Terry! Rest In Peace friend.

Very, very sad to hear of Terry’s passing. We always had a fun time with Terry whenever we were invited out to the Kuntz household in Redcliff or attending a function. He was funny, witty and almost always had a smile on his face. Our deepest condolences to the family and wish you peace and solace at this very difficult time. He will certainly be missed by us.
