Dear Darlene (Cote), John and Sheri (children) , I am sorry for your loss of your younger sister and mother. Cousin Gladys was one of the Colorful 5% of people in my life. Gladys was like an older sister to me and I appreciated the time I spent with her when I was a girl. I will always remember her adoration of Elvis Presley, and her assembly of scrap books in his honor. I know that in the future, when a memory of Gladys, comes into my mind, I will regret not being able to go and visit her.

Sherri and John and. All grandkids. Your mother has a special place in my heart. She hid her pain and sorrow over all the loses she had over the years. I had many coffee with your Mom. Always caring. Smiling and never complaining. She enjoyed the dogs and cats I took to her .and enjoyed listening to her talk about her scrapbook collections. She was so proud of all of her children and grandkids. Wish I could be with you today.
