Roy Sackman passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the age of 83 years, beloved husband of Eleanor Sackman of Redcliff. He also leaves to cherish his memory two children, Leroy (Annette) Sackman and Larry (Tammie) Sackman; four grandchildren, Leighann (Robin) (their children, Mercedes, Everett, and Kiera); Chelsey (Ryan) (their children Camden and Cali); Sean (Jan); Courtney (Tanner) (and their daughter, Atlee); three brothers, Harvey (Ann), Cliff, and Stan (Lana); two sisters, Gladys (Jack) Strobel and Marj (Neil) Dieno as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Linda and Gottlieb Sackman; his daughter, Laurie; one granddaughter, Crystal; his brother Beny (Doreen); and sister-in-law, Jess. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at the Redcliff Cemetery on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Those who wish to remember Roy with a donation, may do so to the Alberta Lung Association.
