  • 1928 - Chichenko - 2017 Forever in our Hearts The family of the late Carl James Chichenko is deeply grateful to our family and friends for the many acts of kindness during our recent bereavement. We extend a special heartfelt thank you to Jamie and Rhonda from Palliative Care, and Karen from Home Care for their excellent care of Carl. We also thank the nurses of 6 west Palliative Care, Rev. Glen Dueck for his many visits with Carl and for officiating Carl’s service. We want to thank the Pattison Funeral Home for their kindness shown through this time and the Legion for the wonderful reception lunch.

  • With Heartfelt Thanks Dora Brink There are no words to express the thanks we have for all who reached out to us in recent weeks to offer comfort in the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. You have blessed us with your generosity and your love. Whether you sent a card, made a donation, whispered a prayer, brought us food or other gifts, made a phone call, or attended the memorial; your kindness is appreciated and will remain in our memories. We would also like to thank Dr. Jeraj and the staff at Good Sam’s; your special care of mom in the final phase of her life will be remembered forever. A special thank you to Pastor Mark Bolender for the meaningful memorial service; also Pastor Mark, Pastor Dallas Hjorth and Hella Striefler for your spiritual guidance. Yuill Cancer Clinic, the palliative care unit in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, Home Care and our friends and family for all their help and support through our very difficult time. We have to acknowledge the nursing staff on floors 4 and 6 of the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and Dr. Ciubotaru for their compassionate care of Bill. Thank you to Fr. Albert Sayson and Fr.   • We sincerely wish thank everyone for their kind and caring expressions of sympathy for our son Jeff. We are so grateful for the cards sent, the wonderful food, flowers, emails, phone calls and visits to our home. Thank you also to those able to attend the memorial for Jeff. All of your kindness shown has truly helped at this difficult time. A special thank you to Dave Townsend and John Hamill who gave a most wonderful tribute to Jeff.   • The family of Mary Townsend wish to express our sincere thanks for all the support and kindness we have received following the passing our Mother on November 9, 2017. Special thanks to David Townsend, Pattison Funeral Home, Rev. Chelsea Masterman and Rev. Jan Stevenson, Chris White and the choir, plus the Westminster United Church women who helped with the luncheon. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at both Chinook and River Ridge for the wonderful care that Mom received. Thank you also to Dr. Ciubotaru for his care while Mom was at River Ridge, and Dr. Rinaldi for her care for Mom over the years. We feel truly blessed to have had Mom with us for 97 years, and to have so many wonderful people to walk beside us.
