Shirley, Ron and Families. Heartfelt condolences on the passing of your Mother. Auntie Helen was the last surviving member of the "Lohrer" family, a homesteading family based out of Prelate, Saskatchewan having had a large sibling group of 6 brothers and 5 sisters. I have fond childhood memories of Auntie Helen and Uncle Steve in Redcliffe. I remember her as a wonderful cook and I still have the beautiful baby quilt that she and Uncle Steve made for my son's birth in 1982.
