I will always be thankful for knowing Wilfred. His generosity was unequaled. He was the most hard working man I have ever met, from taking care of cattle to helping neighbors during harvest, he was devoted to the human community.
Wilfred had a deep faith and holy commitment to his Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. He had a big heart for young people, especially foster children, whom he welcomed into his home as part of his own family.
Wilfred had a rare passion for living life in Christian community. He was also an active participant in The Medicine Hat Church of the Nazarene ( Glenview Church of the Nazarene ), St. Mary's River Irrigation District, and Hillcrest Bible College ( Rocky Mountain College ).
Along with Alice, we all used to sing a song around the fireplace that Wilfred loved, " Amazing Grace. " In his life it can truly be said that the grace of God really was amazing.
