In memory of
Jacqueline 'Jacquie' Katherine Becker
October 29, 1929 - June 08, 2018 - Age 88

Jacqueline ‘Jacquie’ Katherine Becker passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the age of 88 years, beloved wife of Erwin Becker of Medicine Hat. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Wendy (Laverne) Deibert, and Tim Becker (Janice Arthurs); her daughter-in-law, Barb Becker; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson; three brothers, Douglas Wyatt, Johnny (Louise) Wyatt and Frank (Linda) Wyatt; two sisters-in-law, Ann Becker and Doreen McKinnon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Alice Wyatt; one son, Dennis ‘Swoop’ Becker; one brother, Harold, and her twin brother, Jack; one sister Darlene; and her great grandson Layne Langridge.

Jacquie was born and raised in Medicine Hat where she completed her education. She loved the time she worked at Medalta Pottery. On June 29, 1950, she married Erwin Becker and they moved to the family farm south of Burstall. They lived on the farm until 1965, when they moved into Burstall. In 1987, they retired to Medicine Hat. Jacquie was a wonderful wife, very loving mother, nanny and a great friend. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. There was never a shortage of “I love you” to those in her life. She was known for her kindness, sincerity and love for life. She was truly loved by everyone that crossed her path. Her heart was bigger than she was. She loved to sing, dance, play guitar, read and bowl. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on 5th West for the special care given during her last week. A very special thank you to the nurses at the Wellington for the outstanding care they provided her over the last nine years. She loved you all.

Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Shane P. Andrus officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. Message from Darlene Dauncey June 11, 2018

I am so sorry for your loss Irvin. I know she meant a lot to you. You two were such wonderful neighbours and fun to be around. I loved babysitting and trying on Jacquie's heels. Those years were some of the best years when life was innocent. To all of the family members I feel your loss. Thanks for the memories!

Message from Llyle Eslinger June 12, 2018

I am sorry for your loss. We were neighbours to the Becker Family on our farm at Burstall. I have many fond memories on the farm playing baseball and "Cowboys and Indians" with Wendy and Danny. Jackie was close as always to give us a snack when we were hungry. The Becker Family was the kindest and best neighbours you could find.

Take Care
