Lena and I had a special relationship which began the day we met and continued for over 55 years. I appreciated her intelligence and plucky spirit. Her mischievous sense of humor provided me with many good laughs. Besides all that, she made the best chicken noodle soup in the world. I loved her very much. Her life deserves to be celebrated.

Tom, Sylvia, Donna, Mike, and all your families. We are thinking of you at this time of loss. Aunt Lena was a very special person. I have so many fond memories of her. Her impression of Edith Bunker still makes me laugh; her chicken soup - well I've never had a chicken soup that was so good; her relationship with your dad was an example to follow. She will be missed by all.

Sylvia, Tom, Donna and Mike; your spouses and families: when I think of Aunt Lena, I think of the excellent chicken noodle soup she made, the laughs and the glint in those brown eyes. I enjoyed visiting with her; she was a very pleasant Aunt to be with - there was always something to talk and laugh about when I was in her company. Our condolences to each and all of you....prayers and warm thoughts to all.

To all the family of Great Aunt Lena's my sincere condolences. I will always remember walking over to Aunt Lena's and Uncle Emil's house on NECH with my mom. I knew there would always be a can of pop and a freshly baked treat for me while the adults filled the room with stories and laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
