  • The family of the late June Bennett wish to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who called, texted or sent messages, cards, flowers, food and those who came to the funeral to celebrate mom’s life. Thank you to Rev. Don Holloway for leading a meaningful and personal service for mom and for being there for our family. Pam Godin and the ladies at Heights Baptist Church served a wonderful lunch. Dr. Josh Foley, Dr. Doug Mastel and Mark Sloan, you gave mom such good care over the years. Mom’s three closest friends, Pam Godin, Deanna Rombough, and Vi McLeod, thank you for always being there for her. To everyone at the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre, the Palliative Care and the staff at Co-op Pharmacy on 13th Avenue, S.E. we appreciate your kindness.   • Forever Remembered, Forever Loved. The family of the late Don Downey would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our relatives and friends for their support through caring messages, cards, flowers, food, donations, and being there for us. We especially want to thank the staff at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital,6 West; and the Carmel Hospice, St. Joseph’s Home for the excellent care given to Don. To Gregg and Shelly at the Pattison Funeral Home, getting us through this difficult time; Tributes done by Stan, Tim, and Mark, Fr. Philip’s service at Holy Family Parish, the choir, especially Carol, also excellent lunch by Shooting Star Events and the help from the C.W.L. Ladies.

We were deeply moved by the care Mom received in MHRH on the 4th floor and Palliative Care. Our thanks also to Chinook Village for their care for Meada the past 7 years.   • On Saturday, September 6th we gathered to celebrate the life of Don Arthur. The service led by Life Celebrant, DAVID TOWNSEND was as much about laughter as it was about tears: thank you David for portraying his true spirit. Don/Dad loved his friends and family and we are thankful so many of them stood by our side, shared memories and fed our body and souls. We are also grateful for the exceptional care he received at both RIVERVIEW CARE CENTER AND MEADOWLANDS; doctors, VAN DER WESTHUIZEN and GLAS. Additionally we would like to that SHELLY MAYER at PATTISON'S, the staff at CREEKSIDE RECEPTION CENTRE, and all those who donated to the Alzheimer Society.

  • The family of the late Bud Job are deeply grateful to all the people who have shown many acts of kindness during our recent bereavement. Thank you for all the flowers, cards, phone calls, food, mass cards, prayers and donations. We especially wish to thank Father Philip Le, Catherine Lannan, the choir, and the lunch ladies at Holy Family Parish. Our family would like to thank the Medicine Hat Police Service, E.M.T.'s, Home Care Services and Support, and the Pattison Funeral Home, for the care and compassion extended to our family during this time. Gregg...Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated everything you and your staff did to make my mom's prayers and service so special. Your comforting words, your kind and gentle ways of making everything perfect (not that I gave you much choice). From the detailed memorial table to the DVD, the help with Deacon Bill and memorial tribute cards, everything was perfect and professional. It takes a special person to do what you do and with such grace and compassion. thank you from the bottom of my heart.
